Watching with a VPN
Your subscription now includes a dedicated VPN connection option — for customers whose internet provider blocks streaming, and for anyone who keeps a VPN running all the time.
Some internet providers restrict or block streaming services. If that happens to you, your channels may stop loading even though your subscription is perfectly active. Other customers simply prefer to keep a VPN running at all times for privacy. For both cases, your subscription now includes a dedicated VPN connection.
You will find it in your dashboard under Subscriptions, next to your standard connection. Nothing needs to be ordered or paid for — it is part of the subscription you already have.
When you need it
- Your provider is blocking the stream. Channels stop loading, or the playlist refuses to open, while your subscription is still active.
- You always use a VPN. If a VPN app runs permanently on your device for privacy reasons, this is the connection to use.
If neither applies to you, keep using your standard connection. Nothing changes and there is nothing you need to do.
How it works
There is one rule to remember — match the connection to your VPN:
| If your VPN is | Use this connection |
|---|---|
| Switched off | Standard connection |
| Switched on | VPN connection |
That is all there is to it. If you use the one that does not match, it simply will not connect — switch to the other and it works again.
Always match the connection to your VPN
A connection used in the wrong state will not work. That is normal and is not a problem with your subscription — just switch to the other connection in your dashboard.
Setting it up
- Turn on your VPN app (Surfshark, NordVPN, Proton VPN, Private Internet Access and similar all work).
- Sign in to your account on our website and open Subscriptions.
- Open the VPN connection panel on your subscription.
- Copy the details shown there into your player, the same way you set it up the first time.
Your username and password stay exactly the same on both connections. The only thing you change in your player is the server URL.
Error 511
If your player shows Error 511, it means the connection you are using does not match the state of your VPN. Switch to the other connection in your dashboard and the error disappears. It does not mean your subscription has expired or that anything is wrong with your account.
Frequently asked questions
Does the VPN connection cost extra?
No. It is included with every active subscription at no additional cost.
Do I need to buy a VPN from you?
No. We do not sell VPN apps. You use whichever VPN service you prefer — Surfshark, NordVPN, Proton VPN, Private Internet Access and others all work.
Do I have to use a VPN now?
Not at all. If your standard connection works, keep using it. The VPN connection is there mainly for customers whose internet provider blocks the stream — turning on a VPN gets you past that block. It is also there for anyone who simply prefers to keep a VPN running.
Can I switch back and forth?
Yes. Both connections stay available in your dashboard at all times. Use whichever matches how you are connected at that moment.
Will my username and password change?
Your username and password never change — they are identical on both connections, and you keep using the same ones. The only thing that differs is the server URL: the VPN connection uses its own address, which you copy from your dashboard. So when you switch, you replace the server URL in your player and leave the username and password exactly as they are.
It still does not work — what now?
Open a support ticket from your dashboard. Our team will check your line and get you connected.
